Grand Hangzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge . The bridge will be 36 km long and after completion of the bridge, the land traffic distance from Ningbo to Shanghai will be shortened by more than 120 km. The bridge is designed as a six-lane expressway and design speed of motor vehicle is 100 km/hr. The design service life is 100 years and the total investment will be RMB 11.8 billion Yuan. Grand Hangzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge is the longest sea-crossing bridge under construction in the world. After the grand bridge is completed in 2008, Cixi will become the hub of communications in the golden economic delta among Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo.  Welcome  to Nningbo
